An LLC with only one owner.

For income tax purposes, treated as an entity disregarded as separate from its owner unless it files Form 8832 and elects to be treated as a corporation.


SMLLC is still considered a separate entity for employment tax and certain excise taxes, and reports business income on Form 1040, Schedule C.


Retain the simple taxation of a sole proprietorship while still providing the owner with limited liability protection.


Medicare(2.9%)

Social Security (12.4)

IRS suggest paying at least 90% of total tax obligation through estimated taxes. Failure to do so may require estimated tax penalty.
