Primary and trade lines are accounts that show up on your business credit report. Starting off your credit you can have a friend, family sign your company name on one of their business accounts, or purchase a trade line. In this case that account will show up on your business credit in order to help you build your own business credit. Keep in mind for every trade line you want to have two primaries. A primary is a trade line in your business name without a co-sign. For the simple fact you don't want all your accounts to be owned by someone else. It also shows that you can manage the company accounts.

Vendors also show up on your business credit as well.
